Cousin Pat Barrett is in his corner and has been there throughout. He trained at the Collyhurst and Moston gym. The late great Brian Hughes was involved with him. He is from Manchester and is in his 29th professional appearance. He fights in an orthodox stance. He reached the ABA final and lost on points to Joshua Buatsi. He is an expert at the 12-round distance. He is not a volume puncher. He is a thinker who is not going to take silly risks. He is a natural counter puncher.
