Рюсэй Мацумото

He unloads his punches in a very calculative and strategic manner. He plays footwork very well and walks around the ring to avoid getting cornered. He does not like fighting in close quarters and prefers having space to choose his target. He likes to throw counter uppercuts or counter left hooks and then pivot out on his right side. Matsumoto has a pattern and rhythm where he keeps hitting and turning his opponent. Matsumoto throws uppercuts from a weird angle and times them as his opponent leans forward. Matsumoto retained the WBA minimum weight championship.
