He trains with Freddy Roach at Wildcard gym. He is from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. His last fight was a very close disputed decision loss to Lindulo Delgado. His other loss was to Kenneth Sims Jr. in 2021 by majority decision. This is his second stint with Top Rank. He has a really good shotgun jab. He is very strong physically, not just in punching power. He has a good left uppercut that he throws very short without wasting movement. When he goes backwards, he bends his knees so his legs are always underneath him.
