David Stevens

Ronnie Shields is in Stevens' corner. He lost two of his last four fights. He has Sean Hempil and Marco Antonio Paraban on his resume. He fought an undefeated fighter in his last time out and got a win in that one. Stevens got into boxing at age 11 due to behavioral issues at school and on the streets. He threw about 30 jabs per round against Beckir Malakuzia. Stevens tends to wrap his arms around when he gets on the inside. Stevens landed good body shots with left hooks. Stevens has a stiff jab. Stevens fought against Sergio Lopez in June of last year with a spectacularly violent first round where Stevens was rocked multiple times but then landed the knockout blow to Lopez. Stevens had a fight against Joan James which was his first real test and a measuring stick for his career, and he got knocked out in the first round of that fight.
